Science Seminar

The purpose of Science Seminar is to introduce students to the art of giving and listening to scientific presentations and to participating in scientific discussions. In this course, students are expected to give a talk and to actively participate in discussion.

Talks are aimed at scientifically literate undergraduates. Accordingly, students will provide sufficient introduction so that students from outside their discipline can understand why his/her topic is important and interesting, what the main issues are, what the main results are, and what research is taking place.
