Dual Degree Program in Atmospheric ScienceAtmospheric science is the study of the workings of the atmosphere. This study includes Meteorology and much more. Monmouth College has joined with Creighton University to create a unique program for students interested in Atmospheric Science. Students attend Monmouth College for three years and major in physics. While majoring in Physics, students will take a set of elective courses designed to prepare them for Atmospheric Science. Upon completing the physics major for Atmospheric Science at Monmouth, students can go directly into the Masters Degree program at Creighton University. (Note that as in the Engineering Dual Degree programs, GPA requirements apply. Students may choose to stay at Monmouth College for four years and still participate in this program.) See Dr. Fasano for details of this exciting and unique program. Link to Creighton University's Page: Department of Atmospheric Sciences Dual Degree Program with Monmouth College. |
